The Challenge
Several walls on the main floor of this home divided the kitchen, dining room and living room
creating a dim and uninviting space. The main level flooring consisted of hardwood floors,
carpet and tile which deprived the space of any flow from room to room.
The Vision
The homeowners envisioned an open floor plan with a separate walk-in pantry which would
create the perfect gathering space for friends and family.
The Solution
Removing two walls that divided the main floor into several smaller rooms opened up the entire
space. The kitchen was moved into the existing dining room and a separate walk-in pantry was
created where the kitchen previously was.
The Results
The homeowners now enjoy an expansive kitchen consisting of a large center island, mixed
wood cabinets, quartz backsplash, gas range, coffee bar and a walk-in pantry. This family can
now enjoy the home they once only dreamed of.
